Kemi is known for its Gemstone Gallery, which operated for almost 40 years before closing. Now, part of the gallery’s collection will be on display at Kemi SnowCastle. The collection is part of originally a private collection of a local gold smith Teuvo Ypyä, who had been interested in stones since his youth.
